This is a worthy book for everybody no matter who you are. Because of the knowledge Of Automation made easy, it was/is easy to understand and fun-thanks Gary. I was able to use it to diagnose an old Taco 007 geothermal circulator and find a digitally automated one that IS the future. Peter gives an example in-figure 4-3(pg.634) of this evolution in industry, here's one for geothermal consumers; The Taco 007e is engineered with ECM variable speed technology. Its performance is equivalent to the legendary 007 yet it uses up to 85% less electricity, making it ideal for hydronic systems zoned with circulators or zone valves. Efficiency aside, the 007e delivers the reliability that's made Taco famous. Install it, forget it.â„¢ What's more, the 007e has some great features you won't find anywhere else.
